Salmon and Trout Fishing on The Bandon River County Cork
Kilcoleman is situated on The Bandon River which flows through some of the most scenic countryside in the South West of Ireland. For centuries it has been recognized as one of the best fly fishing locations in County Cork. It is 27 miles from Cork airport, and 6 miles west of the town of Bandon.
Kilcoleman is renowned for its hospitality. The owners David and Patricia Lamb make a particular effort to make their guests feel at home. Kilcoleman is "fly only" throughout the entire season for both salmon and trout. However, in certain water conditions, spinning is permitted for salmon.
We also rent our accommodation to non anglers. Kilcoleman is an ideal location for such pastimes as golf, horse - riding, bird watching, painting, photography, and of course just walking around relaxing. We are ideally located for gardeners who wish to visit the many gardens open to the public in County Cork.
